Visit to Lingyin Temple

On Saturday, we took a cab ride with our guide to visit Lingyin Temple and the grounds surrounding it. There are several caves that we were able to go into and view carvings by the Buddhist monks - dating back 1700 years (although some have been restored). Overall had a good day, but alot of walking, we ended up carrying Maddux most of the day. Also missed his nap time so had a little temper tantrum and some tears later in the evening.

More information about the temple can be found here http://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/zhejiang/hangzhou/lingyin.htm, or many other places online by searching for Lingyin Temple.

Sunday it rained all day so we did not leave the hotel room at all. Today (Monday in China) after nap time, we are going to stop by a street vendor to pick up some postcards of the West Lake, and find the Dairy Queen that is here!!
