Maddux Rides a Horse

Maddux had a great time yesterday at the barn, riding a horse, chasing some chickens, seeing a tractor and petting a cow.  He even wants to go back and ride the horse again (thanks Kim!!!!)

A Trip to the Park

Hard to believe we have been home from China six months already!  Some pictures of Maddux at the park last Saturday.  A couple goofy face pictures at the end!

6 Months Ago Yesterday...

we met the most wonderful little boy. He was a little scared and a little shy, but quickly came out of his shell and has been such a joy.

Crazy Hair Days!

Doctor's Appointment

Maddux had his long awaited doctor's appointment at UNC on Monday. It went really well - no follow-ups needed and Dr. said he is doing great. Any complications from his surgery that were done in China usually occur very early and he has been fine for over a year...yeay! Maddux did pretty well, had some tears as soon as we walked into the hospital and through getting weighed and measured. He did calm down while we waited for the doctor and was mostly okay while they looked at his tummy.

Wasn't all a bad day though - lunch at Mad Boar and dinner at Cheesecake Factory!
